Biographical Sketch

Dr. Fang Cui is an Associate Professor, Doctoral Advisor and Chair of the Basic Psychology Department at Shenzhen University. She obtained a Master of Science degree in Basic Psychology from Beijing Normal University in 2009 and a Doctor of Medicine and Philosophy degree from the University of Groningen in the Netherlands in 2013. She has published forty papers as first author or corresponding author in SCI/SSCI journals such as Journal of Neuroscience, Cerebral Cortex, Neuroimage, and top Chinese journals such as Acta Psychologica Sinica.

Fang Cui is currently a member of the Chinese General Psychology and Experimental Psychology Professional Committee, council member of the Guangdong Cognitive Science Society and reviewing editor of Frontiers in Psychology. She is also in charge of two National Natural Science Foundation of China projects. She has been nominated as Shenzhen High-Level Talent, Shenzhen Overseas High-Level Talent, Nanshan District Pilot Talent, Shenzhen University Liyuan Outstanding Young Scholar and Shenzhen Outstanding Teacher.

Jiaping Cheng, 2017 graduate. She has published one Chinese top journal paper and one SCI paper as first author. She is currently studying for a doctorate degree in Shenzhen University.

Chong Liao, 2019 graduate. She has won the National Scholarship for the 2017-2018 academic year and was nominated as an Outstanding Graduate of Shenzhen University. She has published 3 SCI/SSCI papers and one Chinese core journal paper as first author/student first author. She is currently studying for a doctorate degree at the University of Mannheim, Germany.

Juanzhi Lu, 2020 graduate. She has won a Tencent scholarship in 2019 and published 2 SCI/SSCI papers and one Chinese core journal paper as first author. She has received a National Scholarship for Studying Abroad and is now studying for a doctorate degree at Maastricht University in the Netherlands.

Xiaoxuan Huang, third-year graduate student. She has published 2 SCI papers as student first author.
